En tout cas je me suis bien amusée!...même si malgré sa petite taille, ce pendentif m'a demandé pas mal de temps à réaliser... Les deux parties se joignent grâce à deux aimants: un dans le dé qui est creux, un dans la partie montée sur le fil. 3 oui, 3 non, pour les jours où??????!!!!.......

Anyway I had a lot of fun making it!...even if it was quite time-consuming despite its small size... The two parts join thanks to two magnets: one in the dice that is hollow, the other one in the part that is mounted on the rubber cord. 3 yes, 3 no, for the days when?????!!!!!!....

Voici deux broches qui ont été faites il y a quelques années déjà. Elles ne sont pas polymères; la base est en bois que j'ai découpé, peint et résiné.

Here are two brooches I made a few years back. They are not polymer; the base material is wood that I sawed off, painted and covered with resin.

Voici un bracelet que j'ai fait en 2004 et qui est aussi paru dans "The Art of Jewelry POLYMER CLAY" de Katherine Duncan Aimone l'été dernier. Il est monté sur une structure en fil de fer et s'ouvre et se ferme grâce à deux aimants puissants. Le défi cette fois était de créér une pièce assez riche en n'utilisant que deux couleurs: le bleu et le violet. Il a donc fallu que je joue sur la diversité des formes, des motifs et du volume.

Here is a bracelet I made in 2004 and which also appeared in "The Art of Jewelry POLYMER CLAY" by Katherine Duncan Aimone last summer. It is built on a wire structure and opens and closes thanks to two powerful magnets. The challenge then was to create a piece rich enough with the use of only two colours: blue and violet. So I had to play with the variety of forms, design and volume.

Nous sommes encore loin de l'été, et le ciel étant plus proche du gris que du bleu en ce moment, j'ai envie de couleurs. Ce collier a été réalisé il y a un an, il est paru l'été dernier dans "THE ART OF JEWELRY: POLYMER CLAY" de Katherine Duncan Aimone. Il est assez important puisque le carré jaune central fait 5cm sur 5cm. Les techniques: millefiori, application de craies colorées en poudre sur canes noires et blanches, feuille d'argent, le tout poncé et poli.


Summer is still far away, and the colour of the sky being nearer to grey than blue at the moment, I feel like having colours around me. This necklace was made one year ago, it was published last summer in "THE ART OF JEWELRY: POLYMER CLAY" by Katherine Duncan Aimone. It is quite big since the yellow central square piece is 2 inches by 2. The techniques used are millefiori, application of powder colored chalks on black and white canes; the lot was sanded and polished.
